As a student of jazz performance at the local conservatory in Kansas City, Adam spent most of his time in one of three places: the practice room, a jazz club, or at his favorite coffee shop, Muddies. His pursuit of opportunities in music brought him to NYC, and the availability of good coffee here has turned hobby into healthy obsession. The night owl/early bird symbiosis makes this the city that never sleeps, and as a musician and barista, he hopes to enhance many mornings and evenings.

Jane moved to New York from Arizona in 2009 for the sole purpose of being able to say she lives in New York... that, and college. While Jane still loves her stale diner coffee (but only in diners), she is enjoying and loving her new community at Joe. Jane enjoys reading, shoveling snow, the idea of biking around NYC, writing, and photography. She is a fake coffee connoisseur, but a real human being.
