Since 2008, we've been making a whole lot of coffee at this mini-Joe outpost in the Graybar Passage of this incredible and gorgeous New york building.
David traveled extensively growing up. He first started drinking coffee as a remedy for jetlag, but became hooked in college, where he sustained himself on mediocre dining hall coffee and Klondike Choco Tacos while studying music and international relations. When not serving drinks and shooting the breeze at Joe Grand Central, David can be found playing music, riding bikes, eating snacks, and watching the Yankees dominate the AL East.
Jesse grew up in Ithaca, NY and studied music education at Berklee College of Music in Boston. When he's not working at Joe's GCT location, he's doing freelance music production and engineering out of his Brooklyn-based recording studio, Bananappeal Studio or baking traditional sourdough bread. His current favorite coffee is Joe's Baroida Estate out of Papua New Guinea.
Stephanie is a proud Northern California native. A recent graduate from NYU and a lover of learning in all forms, she designed her major in political theology, focusing in American identity and religious diversity (ask her about the Book of Job sometime!). Stephanie enjoys people watching, hand written letters, Halloween, art museums, the SF Giants, and - obviously - a great cup of coffee. When she isn't at Joe on 8th street, you'll find her daydreaming in a quiet cafe or on a park bench.
